It is not his age, God knows the many many times over the past 20 or so years I have reached out to his doctor regarding his behavior. I give this situation to you and ask that he finds as assisted living facility or nursing home to care for him. He has been thrown out or just up and moved without notice because of paranoia, schizophrenia and manic depression episodes.
