Dear Father God, we trust that You are in control of our lives at all times. Calm our hearts, God, and keep them away from the spirit of fear and anxiety. You are the only one who can comfort us and heal our pains and wounds. Surround all who are suffering in pain, especially Carolyn, Biff, Steve, Fernandinha, Maria, Fatima, Teka, Mar, Matt, and Don with Your love and peace that surpass all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Through the weakness that our bodies and minds are experiencing, show Your power to us, Lord. Show us what You’re capable of in Your own special way. Enable us to trust in Your power to bring our bodies and minds back to good health. Let us not worry and fear to fill our minds and help us to find rest in You as we recover from our pains and wounds. I ask all these things in Jesus’ precious name. Amen.
