Community Member, I am praying for you
Dear Father God and Lord Jesus, I lift up to you Community Member for strength, wisdom, guidance, and direction. I also pray that you will lead Community Member to the right Christ centered church so this person can develop friendships and fellowship with loving and caring Christians. Perhaps he or she can join a small group, a Bible study or a prayer group. Perhaps the pastor can serve as a spiritual mentor. In addition, I pray that Community Member will have a change of perspective about not wanting to ask you or anyone for help. Please change this person's point of view. You truly want to help us, just as you divinely helped and guided Apostles Paul and Peter when they were spreading the good news of salvation and planted churches. You divinely guided Moses when he lead the Israelites out of Egypt. Community Member can also focus on Scriptures such as Matthew 11:28-30, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” As for asking people for help, some people truly enjoy helping others. One just needs discernment to know who is willing to help you and will take pleasure in doing the favor, expecting nothing in return. May Community Member also meditate on Psalm 32:8 for your guidance and direction. It says, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you." I pray that all will go well. In Jesus's name, I pray.
