StephanieUSA, I am praying for you. I too, am an only child. One promise that you need to cling to is, you are NEVER alone. If you have accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior, you have Holy Spirit with in you. Also, Father God is as close as your most quiet whisper.
Dear Father God and Lord Jesus, I lift up Stephanie to you for you to lead her to caring Christian friendships and sustained hope, peace, and comfort. May she always put you and Lord Jesus first and pray each day. I pray that if she doesn't belong to a Bible-teaching church that you will lead her to the right one. There, she can talk to the pastor about her concerns and meet fellow Christians in small groups who share her interests. May she meditate on Jeremiah 29:12-13, in which you said, Father God, Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." Another Scripture that might help her is Hebrews 4:16, "Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." In Jesus's name, I pray.
