I am praying for you Stephanie. Wow, Jesus understands and I do too. What a blow to your heart and your self-esteem and your wholeness. You response was spot on, the validation of your suspicions and fears were directly from God. He never wants to world to hurt you. Jesus wants you to forgive him as he forgives you. I know just how difficult this is, but you must forgive him for your peace of mind. Even if you do not forgive, honor Jesus by forgiving. Revenge, even if it is sweet, is deadly to a Christian. It is hurting your mind, your well being and your heart. I believe that even before birth God has a path for us, we may not always follow it and He has to beckon us back, but the path you are on is yours and yours alone. Your hurt is deep and understandable. You need our Father's comfort and you Need to know Jesus has you by the right hand and will never ever leave you. Your foolish boyfriend is on his path and it appears to be destructive. I do not understand what it will take for him to forgive himself and be sorry for what he has done, only God knows and he knows the path he wants this man on. Your Lord is pouring out his special mercies and love to you right now. Let it flow over you and trust in it. God makes his own time, but He does not like his children to suffer. Let go, and let God works. Give it all over to Him and rest, rest Sweet Daughter of God. Amen
