I know you haven't had a heart attack, but this information will still be useful. There is a video on Youtube called Healing a Heart Using a Holistic Approach posted by Allina Health. Watch it. They will tell you how to recover from the effects of a heart attack using functional and integrative medicine. The woman in the video had a heart attack and went to MDs who practice integrative medicine for help. Traditional Western medicine helped her survive the heart attack, but after that, she was not recovering as well she hoped. Functional and integrative medicine made the difference for her. You can find a functional medicine doctor on IFM.org Maybe something like this can help you because if you are having trouble with your heart, some of this information might be useful.
