Dear Father God and Lord Jesus, Through your grace and mercy, please protect people from the distant cousin in Joanne's family who deceives others including family members. I ask that you awaken the cousin spiritually. Let the cousin draw close to you and Lord Jesus and repent of his or her sins. I also pray that people will be alert and see through the schemes. In the meantime, may Joanne and the family continue to pray for your divine protection and intervention. For hope, the family can meditate on Proverbs 28:10, "Whoever leads the upright along an evil path will fall into their own trap, but the blameless will receive a good inheritance." In Jesus's name, I pray.
