Jeri_Anne, I am praying for you. Are you taking the necessary medications needed to increase necessary amount of serotonin to your brain? Anxiety, depression are inherited; similar to diabetes's. The diabetic can't process insulin therefore they must take insulin medication. Somewher in your maternal and/or paternal ancestry anxiety and depression was passed on into your DNA. Ther's no more shame in taking the necessary serotonin needed than a dibetic taken their insulin shott. IF you are taken meds it's important you tell your MD they're not working. They have dozens more they can prescribe to get you on the correct cocktail that your body desperately needs.
