Dear Father God and Lord Jesus, Through your grace and mercy, please soften the mechanic's heart and allow him to give Ruben back the vehicle in a kind, civil manner. Let the transaction go well and in Ruben's favor. In the meantime, may Ruben meditate on Jeremiah 29:13, in which you said, Father God, "You will seek and find me when you seek me with all your heart." Let him call out to you and Lord Jesus for your grace and deliverance with all of his heart. May he continue to pray without ceasing. I ask that you increase his faith and let him draw closer to both of you through prayers and Scripture reading. For hope, Ruben can meditate on Matthew 11:28-30 and give all of his burdens, stress, and worries to you, Lord Jesus.
