MWBeloved, I am praying for you. This is such a beautiful prayer. I feel the same. If no one else will be with me through life, then I need to be satisfied fully with Him! My counselor just told me to stop putting any effort into finding a friend or boyfriend and to just give all my spare time to God. I’m not sure if it’s the best for me, but I already feel a bit more peace having “let it go” in my mind as much as I can. She said I’ll never be able to fully stop wanting it, but that I can’t let it be stronger than my desire to spend time with God. And I don’t want to feel sad or hurt or lonely any more, so, a chance to get rid of those feelings is nice. I wish you all the best, I know this pain and struggle, I’m at 36 with no husband or kids and a few bad relationships under my belt. The Lord has His plan. It’s just not what I wanted. Haha prayers for you!!
