Dear Father God and Lord Jesus, I lift up Rhett Butler to you for your grace, mercy, and blessings. Please surround him with Christians who can uplift his spirits and see his goodness and qualities. I ask that you lead him to a pastor at a Bible teaching church, who can tell him about you, Lord Jesus, and how you can save us and forgive us from our past mistakes or sins through our faith in you, your blood on the cross, your resurrection, and God's grace and your grace. We must admit we're sinners and ask you, Lord Jesus, to forgive us and to become our Lord and Savior. We must be willing to follow you, submit to you, and repent of our sins. I pray that Rhett, if he hasn't been saved or born again, will ask the pastor about salvation or being born again. Once he's been born again, the Holy Spirit will indwell in him, and he will gradually sin less and less and will become a new creation in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17).
