If you are in a dangerous situation, you need to get out of it. I think from a later post you made that you already know this is true. I need to encourage you to walk away. If you actually think your physical safety is at stake, then you need to walk away. You do not have to feel guilty about that, and a real Christian would tell you the same thing. I don’t know what’s going to happen to your loved one, and I hope he gets help. You can continue to pray for him and help from a safe distance, if you want to. But you need to walk away from the situation right now. You can’t be expected to compromise your physical safety.
